Infinite layers

2020-2022

This series explores landscapes that have been sculpted by water and winds, showing the powerfulness of the elements and their slow work, working through the layers of the rock and land over time, layers by layers. It's a comment on how even the rocks, mountain that seem so strong have also their weakness and how these weakness prove to be of an immense beauty. Through these landscapes made of thousands of layered lines, bordering on the abstract, is contained an invitation to explore our inner landscapes, how they have formed, to observe the light and the shadow areas and honour our strenght and our weaknesses.
