These paintings are part of a project about glaciers, and in particular alpine glaciers. 

As I know little of this part of mountain landscapes, I have decided to get to learn them better through hikes, lectures and conversation that I capture via a sketchbook, as well as a more emotional pictural approach via painting in the studio. 

This is as much a reflection on climate change than a encounter with nature and its beauty, and an honest questioning of the becoming of these landscapes.
